\u200bMrs \u200bAlanna \u200bYoung \u200bwill be standing down\u200b as Board Chair\u200b this year and \u200bwishes \u200bto thank the Board and community for their support over 8 years of service. \u200bAlanna\u200b has \u200bthoroughly \u200benjoyed working on the Board of Trustees and for the school\u200b\u200b – supporting the school’s \u200bvision\u200b \u201c\u200bGrowing Greatness through \u200binnovative, \u200bconstantly evolving\u200b and personalised learning\u201d\u200b.<\/p>\n

Alanna was co-opted as a parent representative onto the Establishment Board of Mission Heights Junior College in 2008, a year prior to its opening in 2009. In 2010, she was elected as Board Chairperson and continued in that capacity until \u200bthe \u200bbeginning of this year. \u200bMr \u200bBlair Telfer has now been elected as Board Chairperson, to aid succession planning with the Triennial Board Elections coming up shortly.<\/p>\n
