Please be advised of some changes to Prize Giving 2018 which will give more formal recognition of participation, improvement and our values but continue to acknowledge academic excellence:<\/p>\n
– Academic improvement<\/strong> – <\/span><\/p>\n 2 awards per year level per wh\u0101nau (8 per Year Level).<\/span><\/p>\n –Qualities and values (Kia Mana Ake Award)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0One extra award per year level per wh\u0101nau (total 8 per Year Level)<\/span><\/p>\n –Participation – 4 cornerstones<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The top 10 students in every year level based on e-badges (<\/span>across all four cornerstones)<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n In order to keep the Prize Giving to a reasonable time the\u00a0Academic Achievement Awards (excellence in individual subjects) will be presented at wh\u0101nau assemblies however Academic Excellence (the top 10%) will still be recognised at Prize Givings.<\/span><\/p>\n As can be seen the Prize Givings will provide a more balanced and holistic forum for recognition.<\/p>\n Growing greatness – Kia mana ake!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Please be advised of some changes to Prize Giving 2018 which will give more formal recognition of participation, improvement and our values but continue to acknowledge academic excellence: – Academic … Continue reading Awards<\/span>
