Following a breakdown in the bargaining process between the PPTA and Ministry of Education, PPTA Te Wehengarua members covered by the Secondary Teachers\u2019 Collective Agreement (\u201cSTCA\u201d) have voted to take strike action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The school does not have sufficient staff to safely remain open for instruction on that day. Therefore, teachers who are not PPTA members will supervise students on site who cannot be supervised at home. If your child\/ren cannot be supervised at home on Thursday 23 October, please email the Wh\u0101nau Assistant, as below, by 4pm, Tuesday 21 October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If this request is not received, it is understood that the parent\/caregiver will take responsibility for the supervision of their child\/ren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
