We would like to inform you of an early closure on Wednesday due to planned strike action by the Post Primary Teachers’ Association (PPTA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
PPTA members covered by the Area and Secondary Teachers’ Collective will be taking strike action next week, which impacts our ability to provide necessary instruction and supervision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Time of Action: 1:15 pm to 3:15 pm (a two-hour work ban)
Nature of Action: This is a ban on all work by covered PPTA employees during the specified two-hour period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Due to the withdrawal of labour by teaching staff from 1:15 pm, the school cannot guarantee supervision for students after this time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Therefore, we have made the decision to close the school early to ensure the health and safety of all students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
School will formally close at 1:00 pm on Wednesday 5 November. Please ensure your child\/ren are collected promptly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
