You may be aware of planned industrial action by the PPTA (Secondary teachers\u2019 union) and NZEI (Primary teachers union). At this date negotiations between the teacher unions and the Ministry of Education have not been resolved. Owing to the large number of teachers who are union members we will have no choice in terms of Health and Safety but to close both schools on 16 March should the strike go ahead.<\/p>\n

The Year 7 MHJC Camp for Mountains and Coast Wh\u0101nau will proceed uninterrupted.<\/p>\n
