𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 – 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟑 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓

Following a breakdown in the bargaining process between the PPTA and Ministry of Education, PPTA Te Wehengarua members covered by the Secondary Teachers’ Collective Agreement (“STCA”) have voted to take strike action.

The school does not have sufficient staff to safely remain open for instruction on that day. Therefore, teachers who are not PPTA members will supervise students on site who cannot be supervised at home. If your child/ren cannot be supervised at home on Thursday 23 October, please email the Whānau Assistant, as below, by 4pm, Tuesday 21 October.

If this request is not received, it is understood that the parent/caregiver will take responsibility for the supervision of their child/ren.
