Enrolment Information

Mission Heights Junior College is open for students in Years 7 to 10. MHJC will not enroll students under the age of 10 years.

An INFORMATION EVENING will be held on Monday 27 July, 2020, 6:00pm.

An opportunity to Meet the Principal, members of staff and students and go on a tour of the school.


Applications close on Friday 25th September (owing to COVID lockdown restrictions).

A limited number of spaces may be available to out of zone students in 2021.

Applications must be made by 3:30 pm on Wednesday 2 September, 2020. Confirmation by ballot is scheduled for Wednesday 9 September, 2020. All out of zone applications for 2021 are now closed.

Priority Category

Priority 1-  applicant is part of a special programme (not applicable for MHJC)
Priority 2 – applicant is the sibling of a current student of the school
Priority 3 – applicant is the sibling of a former student of the school
Priority 4 – applicant is the child of a former student of the school
Priority 5 – applicant is either a child of an employee of the Board of Trustees of the school or a child of a member of the Board of Trustees of the school
Priority 6 – applicant belongs to none of the above

Our enrolment form can be downloaded below. Please complete this form and bring it in to our school office, along with;

  • Evidence of permanent address – Power Bill and Tenancy Agreement (if renting) or Sales & Purchase Agreement
  • Copy of Birth Certificate
  • Copy of documentation showing permanent residence or citizenship for students born outside New Zealand
  • Evidence of legal custody should the student not be residing with a parent
