As our year begins to wrap up . . . a number of our Year 10 students are reflecting on their journey at MHJC.Here, some Year 10s from Takutai Whānau reflect as the year ends. 'We have had an amazing year, with many of our valuable memories stemming from our time together as a class. A highlight has been the celebration of our Term 4 context - Tō tātou haerenga: Te whakanui i ngā angitu. (Our Journey: Celebrating Successes.)One of our most memorable trips was visiting the Wero Whitewater Park. On this trip, we were given the experience of paddling on rafts and climbing through high obstacles, having a fun time together as a whānau. Another trip that the Year 10s thoroughly enjoyed was the visit to the haunted attraction, Spookers. We were guided through two scare houses; one being the main haunted house, and the other being a maze, where we were chased in the dark. All in all, we have had a wonderful final learning context, celebrating our time and journey at MHJC!' ... See MoreSee Less
