Tonight marks the joyous occasion of Eid al-Fitr, celebrating the end of Ramadan. To all our students, staff, and their families who are celebrating, we extend our warmest wishes for a blessed and peaceful Eid.
May this day be filled with happiness, togetherness, and the blessings of community. We hope you enjoy this special time with loved ones, sharing meals, laughter, and the spirit of celebration.
For those who may not be familiar with Eid, it is a time of reflection, gratitude, and celebration after a month of fasting and prayer. It is a time for families and friends to come together, share meals, and express their appreciation for the blessings in their lives.
This past Friday was Cultural Day at MHJC. This event is always a significant day on the school calendar, with students and staff dressing up in their cultural or passion wear. As always, lots of students showed their creativity in the ‘Passion Wear’ category and others showed the strong connection they have to their own culture. Students who participated earned a cultural cornerstone participation e-badge.
